Event Description

Join us for George's 42nd Birthday at Live Oak Recreation area. Camping is $15/night (not as cheap as two years ago, but still pretty cheap). Day use is $5/day (still pretty cheap) if you don't want to camp but want to visit us on Saturday and share the cake. This will be rain or shine -- we'll have the Tent of Doom there.

Bring wine, firewood, and your sweet selves.

The site has no flush privies or showers but does have well-maintained port-a-potties.

Thanks to all for making George's birthday such a success. In particular, you don't realize (or maybe you do realize) how moved I was by the presentation of the Kombi Haus gift certificate. It will definitely go to keeping George going for another few years. You guys rock.

Two of the lost & found items were picked up, leaving a quad chair and a blue and white umbrella to be reclaimed. We also had a cutting board left behind, by Claire, I think.  I can bring any or all of these articles to Bus City or to Trainspotting.
