Event Description

Let's plan an unusual Halloween for the kids! There are plenty of campsites that overlook the lake. Bring your fishing poles! Personally, campsites #47/46/45 (in that order) look good to me.

Comment by John LaTorre on October 12, 2015 at 11:42am: It really depends on the site. A bus is about fourteen feet long, and many of the sites for RVs are thirty feet long. Many others aren't long, but are wide enough to get two vans in.

FWIW, in all the campsites we've used, only a very few have been so small that they couldn't fit in two buses.

It might be worth calling the park office at (408) 842-7800 and asking about the dimensions of a particular slot.

I was about to cancel also. My new dog has a medical issue and can't be left alone or brought camping. We will have to try for the event next month. Happy Halloween!!
