Event Description
While everybody else is watching the pre-Superbowl stuff, we'll be camping!
Reservations can be made at http://parkreservations.solanocounty.com/
As usual, bring wood and wine. This event will be held rain or shine, as either the Tent of Doom or one of its spawn will give us some protection as we sit around the fire.
IFriday night will be pizza night, so bring your camp ovens. We will provide Coleman stoves, but if you want to bring your own, feel free.
And there may be some sort of cooking contest, as there were in years past. Stay tuned...

I just checked with the weather people. It looks like we'll have some rain on Friday, letting up by sunrise on Saturday. After that, it's supposed to be mostly dry except for some showers early Sunday morning (before sunrise). The rain front will arrive on mid-afternoon Sunday, by which time most of us will be gone.
Bring wood, bring wine.

FYI, for those of you traveling on Thursday or Friday and driving north on Highway 160 from South of Highway 12/Rio Vista, there are lane closures in effect for the next 3 weeks or so. See the details here:

So, I can't get off of work early tomorrow, and it might rain, but I'm coming anyway :) Probably won't have time to get something ready for the chili cook off, but I thought I would get some sausages to grill up for appetizers. I'll probably get there sometime around 8ish, so if someone could let Gene know I would appreciate it. See you all tomorrow
