Event Description
Pricing info $30.00 per nite. Seniors $18.00 per nite. Additional vehicles $10.00 per nite. Dogs $1.00 per nite. Book soon as they will fill up fast. We will have an enormous food fest Saturday night - potluck featuring Thanksgivings fixings that people bring to the table. All the sites have power for cooking, keeping warm, lights ect.

Some backstory as to why we are having the T-Day Food Fest at Sandy Beach this year. Regis discovered that Del Valle was to close down early in the fall because of the dry conditions. Mike and Regis starting scheming and plotting. They conducted a number of recon missions (you can see the whole discussion in Gold Country Campers). Nothing seemed as suitable for our needs as Sandy Beach. Power for cooking and warmth, the likelihood that the grass will be irrigated throughout the summer and the area is well suited to having the big tent(s). Thanks to both Regis and Mike for stepping up to the plate, making a decision and posting the event! It is a favorite, as you can from the great response so far.

I liked the Spring Has Sprung event at Del Valle that Regis hosted in March 2013. It was beautiful there at that time of year and the frogs were amazing!
