Event Description
We are going back to Sandy Beach in Rio Vista, CA. This is our annual practice run and food fest before Thanksgiving. Reserve sites soon as they may go fast if the sport fishermen/women come back this year. Make reservations here:

The geezer rate is available to those of you that qualify. Otherwise, be prepared, it has gone up to $34 per night.

The Bird is nearly thawed and resting in the fridge. Tomorrow, The Bird will enter into its bath of secret special marinade. It is not a large bird, so the addition of a ham or other mainstay will be welcome. Seems we lost some sweet potatoes with Laura's departure, so I will also be cooking up some sweet potato stuffing. Do we have enough desserts? With shore power, all things are possible!
