Event Description
Let's get into condition for Thanksgiving with our third (or is it fourth?) Annual Thanksgiving Feed. This year we'll be at Del Valle, where it maybe won't rain so much. We'll provide a turkey, but bring whatever side dishes you want for the Saturday Potluck under the Tent of Doom.

I didn't know that the Supermarket Box'O-Firewood stuff was inspected; it makes sense. We don't have any cut wood anymore--lost it in the move. Lest you suspect that I am ever serious, I wasn't really going to bring the dead futon ;-)

The turkey comes with a little packet of unknowns that is used to make gravy. It might be good to supplement that with the canned variety, so I will pick some up. Is anyone planning to bring a cranberry relish or jelly of some kind? if not, I will add that to my list.

I'm planning the same Creole seasonings-beer-apple juice-garlic infusion for the turkey that I used last year. Unless someone has a wonderful suggestion that I can pull together on short notice. Non-drinkers? No worries, the alcohol in the beer will burn off in the fryer!

Update: Costco trip complete! Crackers, salami, artichoke dip, spinach dip, pita chips, potato chips and Kings Hawaiian bread rolls- Check!

We will see you guys Friday. We will only be staying for one night (tickets to the Stanford/Cal game).
What do you guys need for tomorrow night? We will stop off at Safeway in Livermore and pickup snacks/goodies/beer/wine.
