Event Description
The big #10! Who'd have thought we'd be doing it this long...
We are going back to Sandy Beach in Rio Vista, CA. This is our annual practice run and food fest before Thanksgiving. Reserve sites soon as they may go fast if the sport fishermen/women come back this year.
Party Central will be back at site #4. Bring food, wine, and wood (although wood may also be available on-site).

I have to replace my Shur-Flo aftermarket faucet because the switch went bad. Anyone out there want to supervise while I do it at the campout? <wink> Maybe some one has done this before and can lend a hand.

Charcoal bought, grill cleaned. Two small boxes of scrap wood from my recently reorganized garage set aside. I'm thinking of showing up on Thursday, but haven't reserved a space. I'll play it by ear.

The bird will be procured on Monday and placed into my reefer to thaw. Due to the smaller group this year, I am aiming for 12-13 lbs. Someone please bring cranberry and some jar gravy! If nobody wants to bring that, I will likely procure that as well.

I think I'll make some separate-pan stuffing (the kind you cook on the stove, not in the bird).
