Join us for our usual commotion at Sandy Beach Park in Rio Vista, California. The Tent of Doom will be there, so we'll have fun rain or shine.

The park has electrical hookups at every site, so bring your electric heaters if you want to. You may need a 110 v. adapter to use their hookup.

As usual, bring wood, bring wine, bring munchies. If there's demand for a potluck, bring something for that, too.

Not a soul there so I don't think reservations are a problem but the wind was blown like the hounds from hell! Seems the rates have gone up on maybe I just don't remember them being $30 bucks a night. Dress warm and hope to meet you all if we can make it!

Comment by John LaTorre on January 31, 2013 at 11:10am: IIRC, the campground sells firewood (at least, they did last year). So if we run out, we can get more on-site and contribute a little more geetus to the park.

If you left one of those quad chairs with a few burn holes in it, I have it (and the bag for it). I'm adding it to my collection of lost and found stuff, which now includes the chair, a blue webbing tie-down, a yellow LED flashlight, and a blue and white umbrella. If any of this stuff is yours, let me know so I can bring it to you at the next campout we both attend. Thank you.
