4-7-13 update: I just confirmed with Ranger Chris that we are all set and a go for this year. He's excited to host us once again.

NEW THIS YEAR:
We are announcing the "Big Blue's Adventurer Award".

It's easy. This year, we'll note the miles on your bus in a spreadsheet. Next year, in 2015, when you come back to Bus City, we'll note the miles again. The one with the most miles wins each year.

Also Schoolhouse owns 30 acres across the street and a private beach just for the campground. It's just a five minute walk down the river trail. So bring your swim suits!

Getting even more excited now about our gathering at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground; I looked it up on the satellite version of google maps and see it's next to Korbel Champagne!!!
Has anyone taken a tour on previous Bus City campouts?

I'm looking on Mapquest.  It has me going onto River Road thru Fulton.  Exit 494.

Yes?  I'm still trying to juggle this into my calendar on multiple levels.

Carole - Korbel is awesome. A bunch of us did the tour last year and tasting. I highly recommend going to their restaurant for sandwiches after. Really good stuff! Sorry I won't be there this year. Hope to meet you at a future camp out.

Hey all - it's been said many times but change your fuel lines if you haven't in a while. I just adjusted the valves on Blue (my annual check up) and when I was running the bus standing behind the engine, sure enough I noticed gas dripping off my fuel line where it goes into the carb! Let's not burn up any buses on the way to the redwoods! Take 5 minutes and change them if you haven't in a while!

Excited to see you all. I'm bringing some homebrew and some homemade wine.
