Something tells me that if the clean-up goes on till after dark, we'll want to have the tent just so we can hang lights from the poles, and so on.

Just wanted to let you all know Philip and I will bring a spiral ham. Is someone making mash potatoes and stuffing?...I hope so:)

Do spiral hams come from spiral pigs?

This is spiraling outa control .
I'll bring a cloth tent, tarp tent and a 10x10 ez up. The latter might be all that's needed for dish washing. Good thoughts about hanging some lights in the utility tent.

Bring wood. Bring wine.
Oops. Sorry. Already said that

Now you got me thinking.

If its a left hand spiral and I'm right handed, will I fall off?

Comment by Joe on November 12, 2014 at 7:07am
Depends upon the wine.

For those of you inclined to take the slow boat or the scenic route, the J-Mack and the Real McCoy Ferries are on option in the Delta. The Real McCoy is right out of Rio Vista, just north of the Hwy 12 bridge in River Road. When it is operating, it runs every 20 minutes. So there may be some sitting involved. The J-Mack is a little harder to find but it connects the two sides of Steamboat Slough on Hwy 220 west of Ryde. There is no charge for the ferry crossing. Relax and enjoy the ride!

We'll bring this guy we see all the time near here who has a sign says ," Hungry, will work for food". He can wash dishes, looks fit enough. Good way to test if he's really sincere as he apparently hasn't had any offers and has been on that  same corner for about 3 years now, must have worked up a powerful hunger by this time.....

I'll get his number, he spends a great deal of time texting on a smart phone.
