The Valley of Fire State Park is great...at least in the spring and fall. No way I would camp there in the summer!

I see the group is growing,maybe it will build up enough to have a camp out in your neck of the woods when the weather gets better with a good bunch of our buses.

Northern Nevada is within shooting distance of Northern CA, so you might be able to draw a contingency from No Cal. The hot springs stuff is especially attractive. The off-season is fine with me!

I confess that I camp in NV mostly on the way to or from California. (SORRY!) but I have enjoyed it when I did and would love to learn more about spots. There was one area where I camped free along a fishing brook in the mountains and I will post details when I can.
