VW Camper Family

A camping forum for VW bus and camper owners.

Has anyone out there experienced a full electric works dash, interior lights,  brake etc EXCEPT HEADLIGHTS and the bus will not start today.

Seems to have been just a little slow the last couple days turning over.

Otherwise my 84 Vanagon full camper is a dream.

Fuse? Not sure, other lists may be more helpful. Try Vanagon.com archive. Or, perhaps, the holiday lights killed the battery?

Thanks for the guess though all the lights are on the aux. battery and the holiday lights were off the inverter on Halloween.

Using Bentleys manual and will get it just thought someone had already solved the mystery.

Thanks anyway

Start  at Battery Cable ends, make sure they are clean and tight. Battery Post too.  Do the cables look corrodeed?. Do a draw test of Batteryto check state of charge, if the Battery is low recharge and recheck Voltage, test with starter. Hope this helps.
