I just got my 92 Eurovan and know nothing about the kitchen stuff-- can someone tutor me a bit? Or tell we where to find the answers online? Or how to get a manual that would help?

What make is your kitchen stuff? Ours is Westfalia (we have an '87 Vanagon). If yours is too, I can copy the Westfalia manual supplement for you. (Westfalia is now out-of-business, so I don't think there'd be any copyright issues.)

Wow-- that would be great! The stove/ sink is the usual one for westfalia, I think. The fridge is a chest model. It doesn't have any controls I can see (how does that work, I wonder?!?). Trying to find it on the web but not yet.

Oh, darnit. It turns out there are copyright-related issues. The entity 'Volkswagenwerk' ... not Westfalia-Werke ... claims rights to that manual. So, we have created a PDF of the manual, but I can't find anyone to ask for formal permission to make it public. I googled 'Volkswagenwerk' but couldn't find any direct contect link.
Given that Westfalia appears to be out of business, I really do want to make this available. But I do know that Volkswagen is, in general, very protective of its business property. They have more than once put out cease-and-desist notices to various Vanagen-related websites.
Can anyone else here help navigate this string of formal permissions?
