Event Description

We are going back to Sandy Beach in Rio Vista, CA. This is our annual practice run and food fest  before Thanksgiving. Reserve sites soon as they may go fast if the sport fishermen/women come back this year.

NOTE: Party Central has been changed from spot #17 to spot #3, just across the road from where we usually set it up.

I finally reserved a spot #25. A little ways away, but I made it! The van's engine is fixed. I can finally drive it without stressing out!

Looking froward to the first campout in over a year with the van!

Bring on the Gobbler!

Ok, gang! I recently bought some serious poultry shears. So, YAS! If I am on turkey duty, I may spatchcock that SOB.

Good news, Ralph, AKA Kamping King!

Spatchcoking does take up more real estate on the grill than roasting whole. But if we have enough sides and such, we could make do with a smaller turkey.

I will be waiting for the decision  and consult the experts before I pick up the turkey.

How bout both?  There's no such thing as too much turkey!
