Event Description

Finnon is back open! Let's not miss another Fall Finnon Fest, This year, since we are so close to Halloween, let's finally have a decorate the VWs campout.

Saturday evening - dinner in walking distance at the Rock Creek Cafe

Saturday night: bus to bus trick or treating and a bus costume contest!

They seem more organized than before. It is $20/site/night. Teaming up with another bus makes it cheaper, so you might want to grab a buddy. Reservations are highly recommended.

Details on reservations:

Everyone should go ahead and send a deposit of $20.00 to hold the space or go ahead and pay the $40.00 for the weekend, we only take checks. A full refund will be given as long as they cancel the Wednesday before your arrival. Checks shoud be made out to MVFA at the address lited below.

Comment by Big Blue's Driver on August 8, 2012 at 8:58am: Okay - email worked for me, but it seems we have to mail checks in to reserve the space anyway. She is holding 10 spots for us, but doesn't think too many others will be there that time of year. Here's what she said:

It would best if they all make reservations so we can keep tract of the sites. I am going to hold 10 sites for your group and as we get closer we can open them up if you don't need them. In looking at the map I will hold all the point and and maybe a few in the middle where it is a little flatter. I also want to be sure you know the dam is half full from the reconstruction, we can not fish for another year and the water is brown at this time. Please be sure you guest know so they won't be disappointed.

I am now going elsewhere (to the guy who does rebuild for Bus Lab) and my previous mechanic is NOT touching my van again.
