Have reserved #40 and have invited a couple we met in Yosemite last fall to join us. They have a sister van to the Heart of Gold and seemed like good folks. Bob and Becky ...
See you all soon and will provide a gift for the cook off..
Someone suggested at the Thanksgiving feast a swap meet type deal for parts and camping gear... I'm sure the park would frown on a whole " old Tupperware, Avon bottles, scrap building supplies, free kittens, type of thing, " ,but if you have VW Westfalia and/or camping stuff to swap, maybe just setting said items out by your van or on the camp table might be ok for interested members? As Regis says " just sayen" Peace Out.

I've been purging a parts collection as of recent.  VW and non-VW.  

I have two sets of 14" steel hubcaps that can be at the swap meet.  Both sets are the same except for paint detail.  Minor difference.

Um, I thought I had spot #40. My reservation confirmation # is 14-42213 if there's any confusion to be cleared up on their end.

As for stuff to be contributed, I have some stuff I've picked up over the years that other campers have left behind...

It actually makes more sense for you to be at #40 since it's "Party Central." So I'll be happy to have my reservation moved to some other nearby spot. Let the Sandy Beach folks know this, and tell them to call me if there's a problem.

Awww f***... this is crushing to me, I really liked him and was looking forward to seeing him after just getting to know him... bad enough dealing with my dad...
