THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RESERVATIONS FOR THIS EVENT.
Let me explain that further - the campground is closed to the general public until Memorial Day. But Ranger Chris opens the campground Friday morning JUST FOR US. It's secret! It's special. Don't ruin it. If you call, the answering message will say it's not open until memorial day. If you show up the Wednesday or Thursday before, they will not be open. Please do not call the campground or show up before Friday. We've been doing this for 6 years!!!! Trust us. The campground will be open on Friday. There will be space for you. Thanks!

Campsite - first 2 people and 1 vehicle - $35/night
Extra people $5 per person/night
Extra vehicle $5/night
Dogs $5 - no Pit Bulls or aggressive dogs/night
RV or Trailer Up-charge $15/night
Late Checkout Fee $5 per person
Day Use / Visitor Fee $5 per person or dog
Electricity $7/night
Seasoned Firewood Bundle $6
Hot Shower just 25¢ per min.
Forms of payment: Cash only

ADVENTURER AWARD
We will be announcing the winner of the Schoolhouse Canyon Park / VW Camper Family "Adventurer Award". The award will be awarded to the bus that drives the most miles between Bus City 7 and Bus City 8. Buses must be present at the campout in 2016 (and had to be at 2015) to win!
Also Schoolhouse owns 30 acres across the street and a private beach just for the campground. It's just a five minute walk down the river trail. So bring your swim suits!

Jamez, I have a couple of beers for you! Everyone else, we cannot wait! And, we'll probably arrive around 1 or 2 on Friday!! Weather is supposed to be GREAT!

Chris - the owner of the campground, is happy to let you drive in, find a place to park and come back down and pay. I always stop and say hello to him at the office, then drive in and look for a spot to park/camp. Then walk back down and let him know my spot and pay him. If I am the second person on that spot, I just pay him the "extra car" fee, etc.
People don't have to share, but these sites are generally pretty big and there are plenty of places to park. If you see a spot, just ask if you can park there. Then even up with the campground and the person you are sharing a spot with. It generally all works out fine.

What I'm trying to figure out is, which camp sites have the hot tub hook ups and open bars :-) ?
Also am I correct to assume that there is only one bathroom facility down within the inner circle of sites 22 thru 25 ?

Yes, only one set of bathrooms with showers. It's not a bad walk. But then again. I have a port a potty that I bring for "in the middle of the night' use. LOL They are really nice though. :D

I usually get the space with the hot tub (check trainspotting), but my bar is always open.

It's just me and my 7 year old this year in the eurovan. I know we can't reserve, but I'd love to have spot #5 again because of bathroom closeness (for the kid) and the awesome trees and stumps they played on last year there. It's a big site and I'm open to sharing with anyone especially folks with similar aged kids. I'm hoping to arrive 1-2pm on Friday.
