Our annual escape from Superbowl Madness. It will be our usual set-up .... wine, food, companionship (bring the wine and bring or buy the wood). Also, musical instruments are welcome, and maybe we can jam a little.
Friday night is pizza night ... bring your little Coleman camp ovens or use ours, and make and bake an 8" pizza. (You provide ingredients, of course.)
BREAKING NEWS: the legendary 'Soup or Bowl' competition may not take place, because Joe and Corey will be moving to Southern California next month. We can still do the "Soup or Bowl" as a potluck. Or, if some volunteer wants to step up and run it, Joe can still provide the ribbons and such. If you're interested in being that person, let me know.
Party Central will be spot #4. As usual, it will be rain or shine, and if it's rainy, the Tent of Doom and the Annex of Despair will keep us all dry.
Three more things: Be aware that there are wild critters (raccoons, feral cats, etc.) that will go into any open camper that you're not around. So be sure to keep your doors closed.
Second, Brett made a little video about what kind of adapter you need if you want to use the AC outlets that are at every site (for free!). Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOF7aCUfwZ0
Third, the Solano County Parks reservation system is now reservation only, and the registration window closes two weeks before the event. So get your reservation in early!

Will Richard be there? If not, are you willing to share?
I'm in #20.
Looking forward to seeing you all again!
Hey. Batter. Batter. Batter. Batter. Batter. Swing!. No. Not baseball. Football. Weez talkin football. Er, at least the food coma producing part of it. Well what's goin on here. Perhaps a simple pot luck perhaps? Finger foods. Chips n dip. Throw a couple taters inta the fire maybe. With all the rains as of late, it easy to not think about camping. I'm guessing there might be a break in the action soon. Bring wood. Bring wine. Or beer. Or soda. Or anything refreshing. Discuss
Since nobody has stepped up to run the food competition, we'll just have a potluck. Bring what you like. The campground may not have wood, so plan on bringing some. And let's hope for a break in the weather, with mild temps and no rain or high winds. Remember that all the sites have power, and I can bring an extra electric heater for somebody.
Oh yeah. That's right. That Joe guy bailed. Prolly took all of the fabulous prizes with him. Another prolly is prolly going to need more wood than wine, if there is such a thing. I suspect it will be chilly from the ground being saturated. ~RL
I grabbed site 18 for two nights. I think it's the only recognized non-VW site available. Will share.
Weather looks good for us at this time (checked Monday). If it turns dicey, I have an 8x16 pop up awning with walls that I'll bring. We can place it over the pot-luck tables or expand dry space as needed.
Hi Y'all! Eddo and I think we can make it but we didn't plan very well. Anyone have spare space on their site for Saturday night?
You can slip into site 18 if ya want.
