Event Description
Join us for George's 42nd Birthday at Live Oak Recreation area. Camping is $15/night (not as cheap as two years ago, but still pretty cheap). Day use is $5/day (still pretty cheap) if you don't want to camp but want to visit us on Saturday and share the cake. This will be rain or shine -- we'll have the Tent of Doom there.
Bring wine, firewood, and your sweet selves.
The site has no flush privies or showers but does have well-maintained port-a-potties.

Well, they park doesn't do reservations in advance. I expect that I'll show up early and stake my claim. The last time we used the place, there really wasn't anybody else there, so there were no problems. The camp host was very accommodating and probably wouldn't object to me putting dibs on as many spaces as we think we'll need.

There are no reserved spots, it's first come, first served. But I don't think that will be a problem.

I'm sure we can show up early on Friday as well Since it is only a 35 minute drive for us.
