VW Camper Family

A camping forum for VW bus and camper owners.

My left stove burner works fine, however the right one spews propane through the front vent hole (right above the knob) when the valve is open.  Desperately trying to find someone locally to isolate problem and repair.  The keyword would be locally, without having to drive 100+ miles.

Have searched high and low and made way too many phone calls without results. Would appreciate it if someone could recommend a repair person, or even better, had a similar problem with a solution.  Thanks!  Gaby

On my Van the rod that held the stove knob was snapped off, so I emailed Lucas at GoWesty and he found me a replacement burner valve.  It was pretty easy to install, you just need a crescent wrench and an open-end wrench thats the right size.  It sounds like the leak is in the burner valve so replacing it should do the trick.

Appreciate the advice and checking that out today!  Thanks.
