Woody's Hot-Spring Closed Indefinitely...

Woody's Hot-Spring near the Train Spotting Campout has been closed indefinitely. The property owner is fed up due to constant litter, vandalism, and now assault.  Apparently, the owner was attempting to remove a  group of unruly drunks on Dec. 4th.  They pulled a gun on him, and stuck it in his face. When they finally walked up to the parking area, they lobbed large rocks at him from the highway, in an attempt to do him serious bodily harm.  Seems yet another really cool place has been ruined by all too common, ignorant scumbags...   I just read this in the Quincy Newspaper this morning...

Wow, that's really a shame. Do you know how to reach him? I'd like to contact him and see if he will allow a private soaking for our group duringt the Train Spotting campout  June 10-12, 2011.  Thanks for posting this.

Damn, that really sucks.  What type of fools would do that?  There are some seriously f-ed up people in this world...

this is one of my favorite spots.. i live in the feather river canyon and its a bummer to hear this..

i have been there more than once to garbage and the benches in the tub....!!

but never any violence.. truly a bummer... so whats up with the trainspotting campout..?
