Event Description

Let's plan an unusual Halloween for the kids! There are plenty of campsites that overlook the lake. Bring your fishing poles! Personally, campsites #47/46/45 (in that order) look good to me.

Comment by Angela on June 6, 2015 at 9:23pm: FYI, if you're a family that wants to camp 9-25 - 9/27, PM me. I have two campsites reserved for those dates and can accommodate 8 more people. If you're also a canoeing family, we'll be doing some of that too. :)

We have experience with Mt Madonna and have kept Coyote on the radar. Got to hand it to the SCC people.

Travel time for us would be in the one hour range to Coyote maybe a bit more depending on traffic. I'll have to plan a day trip for a looksie. Maybe a day thing that's a meet-n-greet or something. There was a time in recent past that the SCC had virtual tours of their CG/parks. It was cool that you could view the sites on line.

Keeping water in that lake would be a major bonus.

Comment by Angela on August 11, 2015 at 4:39am: Regis, Mt. Madonna is my favorite! I recently went to Uvas Canyon, which is an okay place, but Mt. Madonna seems to have a lot more space. Doesn't look like there's much interest in these dates/event, and so I might cancel it; however, that won't stop me from posting/organizing something in the near future.

We like site 113 or 109 at Mt M. Although there really isn't a bad site in the place all things considered
