Event Description
On March 31, 1965, I almost died. Every day since then has been a day I didn't deserve. It's been a gift, and I've had almost fifty years of them. I'd like to celebrate these gifts with some other gifts I've been given over the years ... the friendships I've collected from some of the most wonderful people I've had the pleasure to know.
I'll bring the Tent of Doom and wine. You bring wine, wood, and you sweet selves.

So, I'm thinking that the date(s) are fixed on the home page. It may have been confusing for some who do not read the entire thread or scratches their head wondering of the two dates.
The dates were indeed changed on the event itself. All is well there.
