Event Description
We are going back to Sandy Beach in Rio Vista, CA. This is our annual practice run and food fest before Thanksgiving. Reserve sites soon as they may go fast if the sport fishermen/women come back this year.
Party Central will be at spot #4.

For me, it will probably depend on weather, and various other things not yet on my schedule.

Regarding the grill size, mine is the 22" grill. I think they recommend a ten-pound turkey for spatchcocking, plus or minus a pound.

Hey John. I'm thinking of sticking with the traditional turkey because I can get more poundage on your 22 inch grill that way. Limiting it to 10 pounds will not suffice for the size of our group. Your grill will accommodate up to 14 pounds in a regular turkey that hasn't been spatchcocked.

I'll bring two 10 x 10's to have shelter over the kitchen area. We can use one, two or none of them. I'm understanding the T of D will be there. We can have large tarps available as back up if the rain(s), just shush on that thought, to throw over the T of D.
