VW Camper Family

A camping forum for VW bus and camper owners.

What does your garage look like?

Mine was nice and neat when we first moved in back in Nov 08 but since then I've been ripping into my '71 Westy and my son bought a '71 Deluxe for his 15th B-Day back in May.  I've put my '71 on a semi hiatus to help my son with his '71.  That and just plain life being kept in the garage and it is now a little on the full side...

I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

These are my buses and that is where they live, here in La Pine, Or. It getting ready to do some snowing by Thursday. Soon I'll be heading south for Buses by the Bridge, are you coming???

now that's a garage...! Really like your bus' too!

Wont be able to make BBB this coming year, still have a few issues to work out on my '71 and saving for new canvas and tires too...the tires only have about 10k on them according to my uncle (RIP uncle George!) but they were installed back in '85 so they're about ready to be replaced before I drive her...
Gary that picture is awesome! The buses, the treeline - beautiful!

Now, try and imagine this all covered in snow !! That is the way it looks now. Got about 4" the other day and we are expecting more this weekend.
Hi Gary,
What a fun post and love your pictures. I'm over in Massachusetts and thankfully no snow yet. Carole has put me in her best friend's garage near Worcester (the coldest part of the state) for winter storage and she is at her condo in Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod. She's there to sell her home so we can move to California, fingers crossed! Therefore she can't send you a photo of me in the garage yet but will do when she returns next week.
She is going to repair the only bit of rust I have which is on the bottom of my front door sills. I'm a 1971 Westy too. What's does the deluxe version have that I don't?!
Cheers,
The YesWeCan CamperVan

P.S. We're hoping to drive all the way back to the west coast where she bought me this time last year, having spent 6 months on the road coming this way earlier this year.
After 10,000 miles, I am looking forward to my rest in the garage!
This is mine in SC

My garage is kinda lame currently, but hopeful for the future. I keep it pretty clean though...

We had a rare Wilmington, NC snow yesterday.  So, I just happened to take a shot of our garage.
