Kate Wolf Folk Festival

Hello all . Anyone else going to the Kate Wolf folk Festival ? Its June 24-27 I dont know if tickets are still available. But we are going. should be a good time we are going to camp all three days. I hope to see others from this list there.

This is a great little festival... Very relaxed atmosphere. It is a fine tribute to a very talented folk musician. It is at the Black Oak Ranch 5 mi. north of Laytonville. (U.S. 101 north of Ukiah)
Taj Mahal, Hot Buttered Rum, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Los Lobos and others will be playing. I go every year, so I will be there this year too. It gets hot there.... bring some shade. It would be cool to see more buses there!
(I live in Goodyears Bar next door to where Kate used to live.)

Wow cool .We have not been for I guess 5 years . Great line up this year.  The Wailin Jennys, David Bromberg, Mavius Staples and lots more we had a great time last time we went hopefully it will be a little cooler this year...We are camping in the" quiet area" I will look at other vans hope to see you.

I just sent in my registration, for all three days. Look for the white and beige bay window Westy with the Dormobile top. Not too hard to miss. (I think I met you at Bus City, and that was the bus I had there.)

 

This will be my first time at the Festival, and I don't know the camping protocol.  Is it just a matter of getting in and seeing what looks campable?

Bill - I love this festival! I'm not able to attend this year, but hope you enjoy. I see David Bromberg has returned to perform, saw him at KW a few years ago. A real treat!
