If you're planning to cook beef chili and want to use dry-aged beef. You need to get it now to get the requisite 10 days at 38 Deg F.

Alright...

Have made a batch of chili every weekend for the last 6 or 7 weeks in order to perfect our recipe, and we are so sick of chili... so we're laying off untill the cook-off in order to rest our pallets.

We will bring a folding picnic sized table,  extension cord and surge protector for the Tent of Doom tasting arena (brings new meaning to the Tent of Doom huh?). So, Saturday cooks can,if they so choose, cook in their respective campsites, just in case they have secret ingredients or techniques they want to keep to themselvs, and then the contestants can then use crock-pots for entrys, all campers will be judges, voting on ballots to be tallied by a non-partial, ergot, fair panel of, non entrants, and valuable awards will be awarded  around the usual sat nite camp fire...

Gotta go finish wrenching in the new exhaust manifold gaskets, (like Ferdinand Porsche said "it'z alvayz zomting vit zeeze tings" )

Weather forecast rain on our chili cookoff campout. We've gone this long without it can't it just hold off a tad longer.

The Tent of Doom will be there, and since we've got about fifteen buses on the hook so far, I'll also bring the Annex of Despair. And if Regis and Peter (who isn't on the RSVP list, but you never know) want to bring theirs as well, I'm sure we can use them, right?

Well, in my futile attempt of pupil imitating the teacher, I do have enough poly tarps and even a canvas tarp to help out.  I am of the opinion that I would bring the poly tapes to maybe throw over the T of D to help keep it and us dry?

Looks like quite a few vans are bringing their owners! It might be time to see who is in what space. I'm in #42 ,have invited Peter.

My vote in the contest could be open to the highest bidder.
