Join us in the scenic and historic Feather River Canyon at Hallsted Campground in the Plumas National Forest.
We have a full house. ALL SITES HAVE BEEN RESERVED as of May 17. There is one non-reservable site you can take a chance on. Otherwise, check the comment wall to see if someone wants to share. The recreation.gov link is below:
The Historic Feather River Railroad route runs on the opposite side of the river from the campground. Trains climb and descend the grade at all hours-you will be falling asleep to the rumble of the diesel engines and the squeal of steel wheels on the tracks. If you have never driven through the Feather River Canyon, it is a real treat!

Those looking for hot springs can find them a couple miles up the road. Formerly known as "Woody's", they are now associated with an RV and cabin establishment. I think you need to call ahead and there is a $5 fee. Details here:
No red light flashing, I have the bright white which also flashes, then I have the 7 color option (2 of those) which also has the mood lighting which displays all 7 colors.
My door is always open. C'mon in. Upstairs. Downstairs. Whatever it takes to get the Nap-on
They're all good sites. Even better since we have almost all of them.
Bruce. No flashing red lights? Well then you're gonna have to buy extra raffle tickets. Just saying'. ;)
Ric: my recollection is that the site is good since it is near the bathroom, that's always convenient. You have electric service, baby, so plug it in! The website says shady, but...I'm thinking you need your awning. It is not the most "secluded" site at the campground. There were tent people there last year and I am trying to recall their setup. You should be able to park at an angle and have all the privacy you need. Hallsted is a really nice campground and, as Regis said, all the sites are good. And by the looks of it, it will be just us!
Oh, and Ric, I am right next door at 14! Looking forward to seeing you again!
June 8th is a great day... my birthday :)
