"Definately one of my TV fav's for sure...was really blown away when I found out Mike is a fellow 'dubber' and drives a single cab. As to their pricing? Lets just say watching them is more fun than probably paying them!"

"Before you touch the head bolts, I had an oil leak and it was the push tube leaking. The push tube have these rubber o-rings that crack has they get old. They are easy to fix, you don't even need to remove the head to fix."

"I used to live in North Carolina, and now live in Colorado. The stove in my bus has worked both places no problem. I'm at 6600 feet - not sure if it is a problem higher than where we are at, but it works fine here with no mods. I don't…"

Down Time

I’ve noticed a familiar pattern in VW bus blogs. They all start with excitement – the purchase of a bus with big plans for camping and tooling around. A minor (or major) cosmetic restoration then occurs, followed by perhaps some actual driving around or camping. Inevitably, the next step seems to be engine problems, followed by an engine removal and rebuild. And that is where Gus is now.…See More

Keep Calm And Carry On

On Sunday I decided to start Gus up and back him out in the driveway for a few pics with the newly painted nose and front windshield. He started up a little rough (mainly because I used a battery that has some issues), but made it out the ten feet or so to the driveway. I took some pics, cleaned up the garage a little in the area where Gus sits, and proceded to pull Gus back inside. He made it in just…See More
