Wheel Color for 76 Westy

I need to refinish my wheels on my 76 and wonder if anyone knows what color came with the vehicle??  I want to match original color as much as possible.  Thanks.

(I think they look much better if they match the bumpers though. My opinion.)

Yes, I think so too - for the bay window buses. Now the vanagon wheels I'm still trying to find a good color / hubcap combo.

Silver. If you are going to spray paint them aluminum colored spray paint isa  pretty close match.

Silver is correct, but mine are currently white to match the bumpers. I plan to have these mounted pretty soon and try out the silver for a while.

You cant go wrong with the bumper color. I bought my 76 with siver rims and painted them white right away. I think it  looks more classic.
