Event Description
This is #12! We missed last year, but let's hope we can all be back together again to consume food and make merry!
We are going back to Sandy Beach in Rio Vista, CA. This is our annual practice run and food fest before Thanksgiving. Reserve sites soon as they may go fast if the sport fishermen/women come back this year.
It's a pot-luck, and I'll be roasting a turkey on-site. Electrical outlets will be available for people with hot pots and such,
Party Central will be at site #4o. Bring food, wine, and wood (although wood may also be available on-site).
As usual, I'll share my spot with another camper, and encourage you to to the same.

Well, now, we have months to plan for this. So we'll see how it goes a bit closer to the big event. Barring unforeseen circumstances, I am likely to acquire and prep the turkey again this year. It has been my pleasure to do this since the inception of this great celebration!

I'm in #11 and as of right now my other half is spoken for. I'll post here if that changes. I'm doing mashed potatoes again, and will bring a carving knife, forks, and cutting board for the guest of honor. Peter has been the official carver, but if he isn't able to come, someone is going to have to give it to the bird :)
Very much looking forward to this campout. I think we all have many things to be thankful for this year
