Bus City Nor Cal XVIII at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground
May 14, 2026 at 12pm to May 17, 2026 at 10am
Get that VW Transporter ready for Bus City XVIII.Held at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground in Guerneville, California, this is sure to be a family friendly event that you do not want to miss. This year the event runs from Thursday May 14th - Sunday May 17,2026. The campground opens up this weekend just for the VW Family and is closed to the general public, with that being said, this is strictly a VW Transporter and VW era campers only event. There are no reservations for this event, the sites are large and campsite sharing is encouraged. Never in the previous 17 years of this event has anyone ever been turned away due to lack of space.Come out and enjoy a nod to a simpler time when a family could sit around a campfire and tell stories, swim in the river (private access), go fishing and have fun. This is a true heritage park, one of the last real tent campgrounds on the Russian River.
