Hey everyone! If you found this, you found the online home of some very offline people - The VW Camper Family. People into VW bus and van camping. Get involved in the forum or check out the upcoming events. If you are into VW buses, vanagons, eurovans and camping, you should hang out with us. Really, you should.

Post an event: Post an event that you are organizing or know about. People can RSVP right in the event. Please make any comments about the event on the event's page.

General Forum:
This area is for threads of interest to any VW camper.

Groups:
PLEASE JOIN THE GROUPS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN! THAT'S WHERE THE EVENT PLANNING HAPPENS! Groups can be created as specific needs come up. Things that are a help to all people, like "campground reviews", are perfect for this category. Or groups in a specific location.

1. Be nice.
2. Keep the content specific to VWs and camping. All other threads, photos, videos, etc will be removed.

Bus City Nor Cal XVIII at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground

Get that VW Transporter ready for Bus City XVIII.Held at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground in Guerneville, California, this is sure to be a family friendly event that you do not want to miss. This year the event runs from Thursday May 14th - Sunday May 17,2026. The campground opens up this weekend just for the VW Family and is closed to the general public, with that being said, this is strictly a VW Transporter and VW era campers only event. There are no reservations for this event, the sites are large and campsite sharing is encouraged. Never in the previous 17 years of this event has anyone ever been turned away due to lack of space.Come out and enjoy a nod to a simpler time when a family could sit around a campfire and tell stories, swim in the river (private access), go fishing and have fun. "Back in the beginning when BusCity became a thing, we were surrounded by Splits, Bays, and Vanagons.  The occasional Eurovan was given a golf clap as well.  I'm wondering if volks who moved onto Sprinters are going to be welcomed ?…"
